- 1/4 cup of cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar
- Pinch of salt - 3 cups of whole milk
- 4 ounces Kahlua or other coffee liqueuroptional

In a medium saucepan, combine the cocoa powder, sugar and salt with a whisk. Slowly add in the milk while whisking to prevent clumping. Heat over medium heat until just simmering and all ingredients are dissolved.
Once hot chocolate is steaming and smooth, remove from heat and stir in desired amount of liqueur (if using).
Divide into mugs and serve hot! Enjoy responsibly!
