In a blender, combine the white rum, cream of coconut, pineapple juice, and heavy cream (if using). Adding heavy cream is optional and will make the cocktail creamier and thicker.

Add the crushed ice to the blender.

Blend the mixture until smooth and well combined.

Pour the cocktail into a hurricane glass or a highball glass.
